If you talk to Drew Stark for five minutes, you’ll probably end up talking about sports. Hockey, golf, volleyball, tennis, he’s into all of it. “I love competition,” he says with a grin. “I’m always trying to get better, to push the team forward.”
He’s the kind of person who celebrates every good play, on or off the field. His favorite Slack emoji says it all: the big, bright High Five 🙌. “It’s the perfect shorthand for how I like to work,” he says. “Celebrate wins, lift each other up, and keep moving.”
Drew talks about his team with the same easy warmth he uses when he talks about his dogs or a pickup game. That high-five energy is how he leads, how he sells, and how he keeps things fun, no matter how fast the day moves.

Drew’s Path to Bigeye
Before joining Bigeye, Drew spent nearly a decade working for a competitor in the data space. From that vantage point, he watched Bigeye rise with curiosity and a bit of admiration. “I’d see these posts about what was coming in the Bigeye product, how they were leaning into automation, innovation, and data trust,” he recalls. “The market was moving fast, and Bigeye just kept showing up ahead of the curve.”
What stood out most was how clear the company’s purpose felt. “Their vision, ‘a world that makes magic with data,’ wasn’t just marketing fluff,” he says. “Once I got to see how people actually lived those values, I got it. It made sense.”
When Bigeye acquired DAG and expanded its data connector capabilities, Drew knew it was time. “That was the moment I said, okay, they’re serious. This is where innovation is happening,” he says. “I reached out, stayed in touch with leadership, and once a spot opened up, I jumped at it.”
He’s glad he did. “It’s been a hell of a ride and a whole lot of fun,” he says. “I came here for the innovation, but I’ve stayed for the people and the culture. It’s just different here.”
Leading the Team
Ask Drew what his job looks like day to day, and he’ll tell you it’s a mix of listening, coaching, and staying close to the action. “A big part of my role is external,” he explains. “Talking with customers, understanding their data challenges, and helping them see how Bigeye can make their pipelines and AI systems more trustworthy.”
But just as much of his time is spent with his team. “I love the one-on-ones, the enablement sessions, the collaboration with Product and Field Engineering,” he says. “My goal is to make sure everyone feels confident and aligned. When we show up to the market, we show up as one team.”
That collaboration has paid off. “We’ve had three of the largest revenue-generating quarters in company history,” Drew says. “That doesn’t happen without everyone rowing in the same direction. The engineering team builds and ships so fast, Product has this clear vision, and Customer Success brings it all home. It’s teamwork at its finest.”
He credits Bigeye’s leadership, including CEO Eleanor Treharne-Jones and co-founders Egor Gryaznov and Kyle Kirwan, for setting the tone. “They bring the whole company together,” he says. “There’s this feeling that we’re all part of something exciting, that what we’re doing matters.”
For Drew, leadership comes down to three words he learned from a mentor: Humble, Hungry, and Smart. “If you can combine those three, you’ll keep growing,” he says. “I’ve been lucky to do that here. Seeing my team win, and seeing their smiles when they do, is the best part of the job.”

Life Outside Bigeye
Most mornings start with a walk with his dogs and a homemade coffee. Lunch is usually something simple and healthy, though he calls it “incredibly boring meal-prepped meat and some type of carb.” After work, it’s back to the gym, another walk, or dinner with his fiancée.
He admits that karaoke nights with friends are a favorite too, but laughs when asked if he’s the first one on stage. “Definitely not. It takes a couple of drinks to get me up there, but once I do, it’s game on.”
Music is a constant in his world: hip-hop, R&B, classic rock, some pop here and there. “The right song keeps the energy up,” he says.
He’s also an avid traveler, having visited more than 30 countries. “Surf trips, snowboard trips, music festivals, you name it,” he says. “I’m lucky to have seen a lot of the world, and I plan to see a lot more.”
Why Bigeye Feels Like Home
When Drew talks about Bigeye, there’s something unmistakable in his voice: the genuine excitement of someone who loves where he’s landed. “It’s rare to find a place where people genuinely love what they do,” he says. “You feel it in every meeting, every brainstorm, every win.”
That sense of connection keeps him going. “We’re helping companies actually trust their data, and that’s huge,” he says. “But what really makes it special is doing it with people who are humble, hungry, and smart. It’s the best team I’ve been part of.”
Almost a year in, Drew’s still just getting started. “We keep growing, keep innovating, and keep having fun while doing it,” he says. “That’s Bigeye. A place where you can work hard, win together, and actually enjoy the ride.”
