In southern Spain and inland Iberian-Celt peoples seemed to have more of a nature worship with solar and
lunar cults. They also had bull and cow cults similar to that of the Paleolithic cave peoples in Greece.

But in the coastal areas a different picture emerges. Sanctuaries were built dedicated to a marine type
of goddess of an Astarte-Venus type. This goddess appears to be the main deity along the coastal inhabitants.
There is also a lot of dove-worship. Usually a dove means fertility and purity. Doves were offered as presents
to this Mother-Goddess in her temples.
